HERITAGE ACRES LODGING is located on one of the first five farmsteads settled by the white man in Holmes County, Ohio.
Homesteader Jonas & Catherine Miller and four other families moved to the Walnut Creek Valley around 1810 from Somerset County, Pennsylvania.
Heritage Acres Lodging is on the Jonas Miller farm currently owned by Myron and Linda Miller, members of the sixth generation descending from Jonas & Catherine. Myron Miller is the sixth generation descendant. Myron and Linda Miller and their four children operate Heritage Acres Dairy and Heritage Acres Lodging.
